About the event
Not sure what to do with your Sunday? Relax and create by the ocean during this 2:30 hour session at Jericho Beach.
The session will begin with warm-up exercises and fun drawing games, then move on to both shorter and longer sessions—all with a New Year’s and intention-setting twist.
Together, participants will explore capturing the small details of the elements around them, as well as the larger movement, reflections, and vastness of the ocean. For the final exercise, they can enjoy a “choose your own adventure” where they’ll explore their unique style, using the beach as their inspiration.
They’ll be guided by Becky Hill, an illustrator and artist who’s passionate about connecting with the outdoors. She will share tips for drawing water, skies, and composition in landscape scenes.
