Secrets of a Creative Director: Stopping at “Good Enough”

How do the world’s best creative leaders decide when work is done and when to go back to the drawing board?

Join Vida Jurcic on October 12, 2023

Vida Jurcic is the award-winning founder of Hangar 18 Design Continuum. She and her team are known for exceptional brand-building — and have earned the trust of clients like YVR, Pharmasave National, and Boston Pizza.

But shipping exceptional work wasn’t always a natural process for her.

At the tail end of the Mad Men era, she was promoted to a high-pressure senior creative role at the age of 25. She knew she had to continue breaking through creative plateaus and wage a war against imposter syndrome.

To do that, she needed a FAST and reliable way to recognize when work was good enough — and when it needed revision.

On October 12th, Vida will share the framework she developed for effectively evaluating creative work.

Freelancers, in-house creatives, and agency leaders can attend this Talk + Social to discover:

  • A better way to leverage briefs. Get buy-in on your best ideas and closure on your completed creations.
  • How to create space for fresh concepts and unexpected outcomes — without overpromising or adding unnecessary pressure. (Say buh-bye to creative ruts.)
  • Speeding up your work by clearly defining what is “good enough” — and what excellence means to you.

Join us at The Beaumont Studios for pizza and beers — and discover how to put an end to perfection paralysis and push the boundaries of your craft.
