Drawn Outdoors Hike: Dog Mountain

You are invited to join a relaxed (maybe snowy) hike + sketching adventure through forested trails to the stunning viewpoint at Dog Mountain in Mount Seymour Provincial Park. On a spring day in May, the experience blends gentle hiking with mindful creativity, pausing at the viewpoint to sketch snowy textures, evergreen forests, and sweeping mountain views over Vancouver and beyond.

No experience is needed—whether you’re new to drawing or already filling sketchbooks, the experience focuses on slowing down, connecting with nature, and expressing what you see in your own way.

You’ll be led by Delaney Cox, an illustrator and artist passionate about connecting creativity with the outdoors. She’ll share simple techniques for capturing atmosphere, depth, and mood—perfect for both beginners and experienced sketchers.
