About the event
The Drawn Outdoors Hike invites participants on a relaxed hike and sketching adventure along the mossy forests and rushing waters of North Vancouver’s Lower Lynn Loop Trail. On Sunday, October 5, 2025, the group will combine gentle hiking with mindful creativity, pausing in scenic spots to capture forest textures, reflections, and layered landscapes through sketching.
No drawing experience is required. Whether new to sketching or already filling sketchbooks, attendees are encouraged to slow down, connect with nature, and express what they see in their own style.
Illustrator and artist Becky Hill will guide the outing, sharing simple techniques for portraying layered forest scenes, mood, and depth—accessible for both beginners and experienced sketchers.
