About JoonJoon-Mo Lee (*1976) is a creative leader and strategist. As MA Innovation Management graduate from Central Saint Martins, former Managing Director at PHOENIX and chair of the UX Design Award jury (2024), his work and public talks explore the intersection of culture, design and business, often with a focus on research insights, things and brands-meanings.

He has worked in the Toy-, FMCG- and design-industries in Düsseldorf, Berlin, Hong-Kong, London, Stuttgart and Munich. During his time with TEAGUE and PHOENIX, he has advised a wide range of leading global brands including Allianz, LG, Samsung, Huawei, BSH, bulthaup, Vorwerk, hansgrohe and Schindler. His leadership-style is known to be fierce, fun and family-like. Joon loves travel and cooking, has a palate for oysters and cheap bourbon, and is into nerd-stuff.
