How to Make Your Creative Ideas Competition-Proof

Join Trevor Van den Eijnden at Creative Pulse on Thursday, July 25th

Have you ever felt stuck because your creative ideas feel too similar to the work that someone else has done?

How do you push past and execute in a way that’s fair—and authentic to your vision?

As the head of the Visual Arts Department at the Visual College of Art and Design, Trevor Van den Eijnden is no stranger to having his creative work critiqued nationally in exhibitions at galleries, museums, and festivals.

But even as an accomplished visual artist, Trevor knew early on that having visual overlap was inevitable in this field.

In fact, it was almost impossible not to.

After seeing a visually similar project published before his, Trevor realized that staying true to his story would give him the extra edge to go on with his project. By weaving his own distinct narratives together, he created context behind his work that could never be compared.

On July 25th, Trevor will share how to create work with layered meaning and individualized context.

Industry professionals, agency creatives, and creative freelancers can attend this Talk + Social to discover:

  • How layered meaning can lend depth and substance from which to branch, grow, or change course from.
  • How to avoid single points of failure in your projects and strategies.
  • How to develop a story for every part of a project.

Join us at Elevator Strategy for tasty beverages and pizza — and discover how to be more motivated and adaptable with your creative work.
