But despite leading a design team that serves a global set of partners, Stanley has struggled with understanding the potential direction and implications of emerging technology. He came to realize that Design Thinking had striking limitations for creatives on the cutting edge.

This motivated him to pursue alternate methods that are better suited for working in emerging spaces and technology.

As a Design Director for Domain7, Stanley Lai works with a variety of clients across industries to understand how design and digital can transform the way they do business. His facilitation and speaking skills have inspired teams at startups and enterprises alike, bringing design methodology into the mainstream. He is currently working towards a Masters degree in Strategic Design and Management through Parsons School of Design.
